Discover Allegheny Cemetery as an outdoor living history and art museum! A must see attraction in the City of Pittsburgh, tour guests will be guided along a 1 – 2 hour route showcasing 300 acres of vibrant urban forest, stories of notable persons at rest and countless examples of stunning memorial statuary. Highlights include 28 City of Pittsburgh Mayors, stars of the screen and stage, pioneers of aviation, captains of industry, sports legends, local heroes and veterans from every American conflict.
Guided Tours are offered by reservation only and requests must be made two weeks in advance. Our expert Tour Guide will board your bus or lead a caravan of cars Tuesday – Friday starting from 10:00am to 2:00pm start at the latest. Tours are offered April through October, with the exception of the month of May due to preparations for Memorial Day. A $10 per person donation to the Allegheny Cemetery Historical Association is very much appreciated and may be made by cash, credit card or check payable to the “A.C.H.A.” mailed in advance or submitted to the Tour Guide the day of.
